Achieve Life is excited to introduce a 5-week structured summer program designed to help young adults build workplace readiness, develop routines, and explore vocational strengths through guided real-world task experiences. This program was developed in response to a common need among many of the young adults we serve — individuals who are ready for more independence and responsibility than traditional summer programs offer, yet still benefit from structured support as they prepare for their first meaningful work experiences.

Program Overview
Many young adults complete school services without a clear direction for employment or adult programming. Some are not yet ready for competitive employment but would benefit from additional structure, routine, and guided exposure to workplace tasks.
The Achieve Life Vocational Exploration & Work Readiness Intensive provides a small-group environment where participants engage in structured work activities. At the same time, staff observe patterns in executive functioning, stamina, and task preferences.
This process helps families better understand their child’s strengths and identify appropriate next steps for employment supports or adult services.

Program Leadership
The Achieve Life Vocational Exploration & Work Readiness Intensive is led by Justin Lundstedt, OTR/L, founder of Achieve Life OT & PT.
Justin is an occupational therapist with extensive experience supporting adolescents and young adults with executive functioning challenges, transition planning, and vocational readiness development.
Through his work in school-based and community settings, Justin has observed that many young adults fall into an “in-between” stage during the transition to adulthood. These individuals may want to pursue competitive employment but are not yet fully ready for traditional job placement programs, or they may not fit neatly within existing vocational service pathways.
The Achieve Life Vocational Exploration Intensive was developed in response to this need—providing a structured environment where participants can build routines, explore work tasks, and gain clearer insight into their individual strengths before committing to longer-term vocational services.
Program Availability
Enrollment is limited to the first 8–12 participants in order to maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.
